This spectacular crag situated on the western hillside of Monte Monaco was a product of the popular San Vito climbing festival in 2015. A superb wall with mainly long (up to 40m) and hard single-pitch routes. The left side of the crag has a slabby lower wall which delivers you to a complex and steep roof section. Further right the steeper rock is reached more quickly. Bring 20+ quickdraws and a suitably long rope (80m).
The parking is just off the San Vito bypass road that leads around the headland. Turn right just before the dual carriageway section. Drive down here to just before the road begins to curve around to the left and a track continues straight. There are parking spots up the track but please ensure nothing is obstructed.
From the parking, follow the track directly up the slope for around 500m. Head around to the left then straight at the junction of three tracks through a gate (usually open) into an olive grove. Follow the track through the grove to its top edge, where the now vague track ends. Go leftwards, keeping inside the grove, to the northeast corner and a narrow dried up stream. Wind your way up the hill following cairns to the bottom right of the scree slope under the crag. Head up this (more cairns) then down and left to reach the right side of the crag.
