Crag features
Beginners crag featuring easy, well protected routes with a relatively easy approach. The face is found on the North-West part of the rocky rise of Crépa, the summit of which is home to a First World War Ossuary.The crag is located at 1500m, faces north west and consequently is ideal for warm summer days. In spite of limited sunlight the crag dries quickly, although it is not possible to climb on rainy days. The rock is formed of black compact rock, the routes are mainly on vertical walls or slabs and the lengths are fairly short.
Approach notes
The crag is located very close to Pocol, located around 5.5km from Cortina along the SR48 delle Dolomiti. Park by the Hotel Argentina and follow the forestry track (403) which leads between the two large hotels and descends towards the hamlet of Lacedel. Continue down for 350m until the crag comes into view a few metres above the road. The crag is formed of single sector and the routes are easy to find.
