An accessible little bouldering spot. The majority of problems are between 4a and 5b. The rock gets the afternoon sun and they are pretty clean and sound. It's really quite a peaceful and friendly way to spend half an hour if you happen to be driving across the Pennines. Lovely rough rock, but doesn't dry as fast as you might expect for a south-facing crag due to seepage from hillside above.
There is a layby on the eastbound side of the A628, almost directly beneath the craglets.
