Crag features

A very steep and intense crag in a peaceful location just above Kentmere. Persistence with the awkward parking will reward the E3-6 leader with some fierce testpieces. Be careful of in-situ gear as it is quite old.

Approach notes

Limited parking which disappears quickly at weekends at the head of Kentmere - 15 minute approach. Park at the church if possible, otherwise you can go down the track from the church and ask the farmer if you can park on the track. The answer depends on what mood the farmer is in. Walk up the track until the crag is visible on the left, cross the wall carefully, and up the gully to the crag - best on the right side.

This is my local crag, although most the routes are abit out of my leading grade (except the slabs) it has good solid trees at the top to top rope off.
