UKC

320m, 9 pitches. Simply has to be one of the best 5.8s in the country (world) - 9 pitches of amazing rock, with constant difficulty but varying terrain. Trad gear is only necessary if you mind 30' runouts between bolts (!), but anyone who is confident at Red Rocks 5.9 will not mind the gaps. Top two pitches can be combined with a 60m rope, and take 12 draws (not the 9 stated in the guidebook)

Jorge and Joanne Urioste 1979.
