The crags near the old fishing village of Kintra have been visitied for many years. There are many craglets and boulders scattered about here with gobsmacking views of Staffa, the Treshnish Islands, and Rum if it is clear.
Approximately 2km east of Fionnphort turn right and stop at the road end car park at the village of Kintra. Walk east along the road, then go left of the last house. Walk right behind the house to pick up a track and follow this past a house which is out of sight beyond a burn over the hill. Continue east in the bog behind the house until a fence crosses north to south. From here the various crags can be accessed.
Some crags might have birds of prey nesting in which case they should be avoided in the spring.
