At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving. Please proceed with caution though. Read more
Altitude 478m a.s.l
Large limestone crag up to 40m high, notice board in the carpark says there are 170 routes from 3 to 8b Plaisir Jura lists 23 routes. Some of the easier routes are quite overgrown but this doesn't affect the climbing very much.
From Ornans take the D67 west for 2km to a carpark on the right just before a bridge over the river. Walk back south on a track running parallel to the road for 200m until just past a barbed wire fence crossing the track, turn left up the hill and cross the field diagonally rightward (no trace on the ground) to reach another barbed wire fence, follow the fence rightward until you find a passage through the fence, from here a good path zigzags up to the crag arriving just right of the first route listed in Plaisir Jura.
