60m, 2 pitches. Great ice climb , about 40 mins from the road.
Approach: A few metres left of the ski lift in La Grave is a steep path leading down to a bridge across the stream. Cross the bridge and follow the tracks going right. The first branch from this off left on the flat leads some boulders: ignore this and keep going a little further parallel to the stream and take the first left up fairly steeply to the route.
Two pitches with an easier grade 3 variation to the left.
Descent: a single abseil from the tree at the top on a 60m rope.

Pascal Sombardier and Bruno Douillet 1978.

βeta: Led P1.Started on the right taking a left rising traverse to the bolts on the left wall, Nik took P2 taking us to the top & a tree belay on the left, a single ab down on 60s gets you to the bottom with a bit to spare. Finding where to leave the ski trail to head up was tricky, had to break trail the whole way, leave the ski trail at 45’2’28 N 6’16’48’ E From where you can look up & left through the trees and see the route in a rock gully
