A small, shaded crag that has gained attention in recent years for its impressive hard problems and high-quality rock, despite being in a more humid location than the nearby south-facing cliffs. All the lines are trad, with bolted anchors, and the hardest routes remain projects to this day. A few easier climbs complete the sector, making it a nice choice for a mid-season or summer evening session. Moreover, the crag is easily accessible from above - great news, considering the protection difficulties.
The approach is a bit tricky, although fairly short. From the aerials in Borgata Gandoglio, reach the “Sentinella” crag. At the far-right end of the crag, continue traversing right on a level path. This section follows an old, overgrown trail that can be difficult to follow during the growing season. The traverse ends on a pleasant hill where the forest becomes easier to cross. From there, continue trending left until you reach the top of the crag. To descend to the base, pass to the left (when facing downhill). Total time 10/15 minutes from the car.
