Swiss pair ahead of us on the E-W Traverse of the Argentine Ridge © nick simons
Site of the famous Miroir d'Argentine, also home to many other routes on the North Face. There is also a long brilliant traverse along the ridge, good in either direction.
Routes finishing on the notch (Voie Normale) need to head east along the ridge, exposed but technically easy (a couple of bolts on the way) before picking up the path that goes beneath/around Haute Corde.
Don’t follow a path heading east from the notch, this leads to nowhere and is very dangerous. Zoomer - 05/Aug/24 |
