A couple of small, slabby and popular cliffs that look out over the upper end of the Lac de St Croix and the lower end of the Verdon Gorge. They are in a sunny setting.
Park on the north side of the bridge, and cross the road at the bend where a good track heads left, then right, before climbing the scree to the lower crag. The upper crag is reached by walking under the lower crag, then heading diagonally up the hillside. Although just below the D952 Moustiers - La Palud road the upper cliff is not reachable from above - the terrain is steep and loose.
Great selection of 6a's - if you don't mind some jamming mixed in! Cheshire Dave - 14/Jun/12 |
