Thomas Falla seconding Wet on Sunset Slab at Le Gouffre, Guernsey © jimaye04
A rare thing for Guernsey - a non-tidal crag!* This crag has all grades up to E5 on it, mostly slab/groove lines. Rock quality is generally good for a non-tidal crag, but some gear placements in the corners need care as they can be a bit smooth.
Good topos here.
*Sunset slab, Sunset slab stacks, Red Slab and La Moye stack are tidal, The rest aren't.
The path shown in the Alan Hill guidebook is now overgrown. A new path now follows the track on the eastern side of the valley to the bend where a path cuts down through the gorse and sloes to a notch in the ridge where it then descends westwards to the stream before crossing it just below a boulder on the far bank, and carrying on down to Waterfall buttress. Wear trousers as it's a bit thorny/gorsey even though it's well used.
No bird restrictions, although like most crags it's best avoided during nesting season (April-July) as seagulls nest on and below the crag.
