Le Harve l’Elin d’Colin is a small shingle bay with a rock fall scar high on its right-hand side between The Pea Stacks and Sea Plane Wall.
From the large carpark at Jerbourg Point, walk west along a narrow tarmac track that runs behind Hotel Jerbourg and in front of the houses on the cliff top. Towards the end of the narrow tarmac track, is a white bungalow with “Seaplane Bungalow” in white concrete letters above the door. Pretty much opposite the white bungalow, is a clear area with memorial stone and a wall running down one side. Following the line of the wall, walk down to the ridge/coupee that separates Le Harve l’Elin d’Colin and the bay behind a large rocky platform (Bainchu Island).
On top of the ridge/coupee is boulder bridging between two other boulders. The bridging boulder marks the top of the steep narrow gully that is followed down to the top of slabs at Le Harve l’Elin d’Colin. If the tide is low enough, scramble down into the bay or alternatively, if the tide isn’t low enough to scramble into the bay, abseil in from the top of the slabs or somewhere on the ridge/coupee.
