Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 1500m a.s.l
Faces SW
The Guide book suggests climbing April to November, today is Jan 22nd and we have been climbing! This big face of limestone on the ramparts of the Fort du Randouillet overlooking Briancon and down the Durance valley has climbs from 4 to 7c. Some nice long routes but a bit polished in places.
From Briancon find the Avenue de Col de l'Izoard and follow it up through Fontchristianne to a sharp left with the decettery on the right turn left and park on the right or follow the track to the parking about 500m.
