The ONF have announced that the iconic L'Elephant boulder is off-limits until the end of June 2019 due to erosion.
Don't climb here immediately after rain. The rock is soft and very suseptable to erosion when it's damp.

βeta: Started with my hands crossed on the semi circle getting my right hand in the best bit but not at the top. Then layback/smeared off the main face to get some off the pad, used a heel in the semi circle to get my right hand into the top of the semi circle hold. Switched the heel to a toe and catch the lowest part of the big jug hold. Very frustrating to work out but glad I found something that worked (quite bunched for the tall). | ||
