The most frequented route to the summit of Les Diablerets starts from the Glacier 3000 lift station at Sex Rouge (2,971 m). From there, it is necessary to descend to roughly 2,850 m via a track heading South East towards the Glacier de Tsanfleuron. This track then moves upwards (with some short descents) towards the "Dôme des Dibalerets" at 3,016m, located close to the top of the ski lifts. In summer, the route to the Dôme is currently a marked hiking route.
From the top of the Dôme, cairns lead to a short rock pitch that follows a cleft moving downwards on the right side of the ridge (looking downwards) towards a snowy col (UIAA II). The position is quite exposed, and a fixed rope may be in place to protect this pitch. However, the pitch is short and there are plenty of holds. From the col, descend onto the Glacier des Diablerets and head gradually upwards on snowfields South West. The summit cross is visible at the end of a wide arête.
