Rockfax Description
This long pitch with some good moves gives a memorable outing. The upper section is an amazing wall at the grade. © Rockfax

βeta: Trundled the large loose block on the half way ledge. Was quite a crash and rolled a long way - came to rest in the middle of the grassy area below. Much safer without this, but may be some residual small loose stuff on half way ledge. Note there is still a cracked block with a big chalked X, between Curfew and Grid Iron just above half way ledge, but isn't on either route.

βeta: Large loose block still there. Renewed the chalk X. CAREFUL: The block looks like a good hold!

βeta: Warning: there is a large loose block at half height. It is completely loose and rocks back and forth, and would destroy all below, even wearing a helmet should it fall. I put a chalk 'X' on it.

βeta: good route the upper section is particuarly fine. leader can be lowered on a 60 metre rope ONLY if the 2nd moves up a bit and ties a knot in the end of the rope.

βeta: Rather nice F6b, lower wall is a so-so warm-up, top wall is steadily unsustained with lots of good holds and an amenable angle. Good climbing.

βeta: Probably the best route on this wall, certainly much better than A Night Torchlight Parade.
