Erection pitch © a pedley
A high slab which doesn't suffer much drainage (unlike many crags in the area). Variable quality rock, but the best ones are very compact and sound. All routes are multi-pitch, up to 410ft. Worth visiting for Resurrection (HVS 5a**) - but you don't have to tell them which crag you were on in the pub, just say you did Resurrection.
Take the Snowdon Path from the Rhyd Ddu car park; or Ffridd Uchaf. This goes along the top of the cliff - allow about one hour. (Headtorch for the walk back.)
Alternatively take the Snowdon Ranger track and Cwm Clogwyn - longer, wetter, but takes you to the bottom of the crag.
