Crag features

A number of mica schist blocks on both sides of the valley around Inveruglas water.

The bouldering provides excellent views and climbers will generally have solitude when bouldering. The substation boulder, roadside block and dam boulders provide an easy approach from the good tarmac road. However, the other boulders require some additional Bushwhacking.

Note: I have updated this page recently (Mar 25) adding some boulder locations. Additionally some other blocks with lower grade problems have been cleaned and added, many of these have no info and have been given names - happy to update these if other info becomes available.

Approach notes

Park at Inveruglas visitor centre, which has a good number of spaces but may be full on peak weekends as it is used for popular Munros (£4 all day).

From here walk south along the A82 and follow the paved road leading to the Sloy Dam. From the car park to the Roadside boulder is around a 40 minute walk with pads. Dam blocks and blocks further up the hill will be closer to an hour approach carrying pads.
