Only minutes from the parking the Lost Valley is an extremely sheltered crag set within a deep inland ravine. The crag has now been extensively developed and contains a large number of routes, often of the technical variety, that will be of interest to teams looking for climbing in the low to mid-grades. A reliable spot with regard to conditions it is also perhaps the best place to head for if a full-on gale is blowing when all can be still in the depths of the trench that the crag lies in.
Park in the main Cheyne Weares car park which is clearly marked. From the car park, walk north for 150m (left when looking out), until a rocky ravine on the left is reached - this is the Lost Valley. Drop down a steep chute at the far end to gain the right-hand side of the cliff.
