Faces all
A widely scattered collection of granite boulders that require some tenacity to unearth, as you won't find much information anywhere regarding where to look. Lysterfield, and a couple of other more urban venues around Melbourne, are all there is for anyone that doesn't want to contribute further to an already enormous carbon footprint, whilst living in the city, but wants to climb on rock that isn't part of a man made structure. It is good if you can find it but unlikely to excite anyone who is seeking globally significant climbing destinations. Enjoy exploring. Google earth is your friend.
Multiple points of entry into the park. Trails throughout and boulders sometimes in plain view, sometimes deep in the bush.
No access issues for boulders within the park, they are on public trails. Repect the signs on the private land boundary fences. Tread sensitively. Be considerate to other park users. Don't damage vegetation and absolutely NO BOLTS anywhere. Remember loose flakes are a habitat for flatty spiders. Don't prise them off.
