Climbs 3
Rocktype Basalt
Faces all
The magnificant set of three sea stacks known as MacLeod's Maidens situated just west of Idrigill Point on the Duirinish Penisula.
Limited parking is near Orbost House.
The largest stack have been accessed by a ~75m abseil from the cliff top then a boulder hop (at low tide!). The other stacks require a 55m swim however a boat has also been used in the past.
Only one party is known to have climbed all three and did this from land and made the pub in time for dinner. The main stack has also received a mass ascent with a party of ~12. It is quite loose higher up and such a large party is not advisable!
