Manley Knoll is a charming little spot that offers a small selection of the good, the bad and the down right ugly. This is defiantly a local spot but there are the one or two flashes of quality. It runs to the higher end of the highball spectrum
With obvious parking before the hill drops. Park up and walk down the road about 150m, and cut through the small wall to walk uphill 100m to the obvious sandstone climbing. Approach time 5mins. It's suggested that permission to climb should be asked from Manley Knoll House - private land.
The land owners (very nice and approachable people) are happy with climbers, however they want you to contact them before you go as they don't want to stumble across a body at the bottom of the crag. Email - james@timpson.com
Lost chalk brush… one of a kind… reenforced bamboo stick with a brush strapped on using tape. Please contact me if you come across it. Very sentimental haha.

Apparently privately owned and the owner would appreciate people letting her know if they are going up there. She lives at the big house (also called Manley Knoll) just past the Knoll on the left (from the North). [From UKB] steveriley - 09/Sep/14 |

Turns out Manley Knoll is on private land and the owner requests you let them know if you're climbing there. She lives at the big house (called Manley Knoll) just past the Knoll on the left (coming from the North). steveriley - 05/Sep/14 |
