Crag features
The most developed area for sport climbing on Ko Tao.
18 Sport Routes, 14 Top-Rope anchors with 20 routes, 4 to 7a and above.
Most climbs have anchors at the top of the climb already set-up with back-to-back snapgate carabiners, so just clip in and clean the route on the way down, easy. Not all climbs have this luxury, so check the guidebook and topos just in case.
Approach notes
Drive through Sairee East towards Hin Wong bay. Just after the turn off for Mango Viewpoint, take a right turn that takes you winding up and around a steep hill, then follow the red arrow signs for 'Mek's Mountain Climbing'. You will eventually reach a half built cafe with 2 Tiger statues' at the entrance, park either here or at the next clearing just above, further up the hill.
No Access Issues
Entry to this area is 100THB for access to the property, the land is owned by a local Thai named Mek. This can be paid to the Goodtime Adventures shop in Sairee.
