A few excelent sea cliff climbs on the wall opposite middle stack
The routes can be hard to locate from the cliff top, careful reading of the SMC guide should keep you right though. The routes are not directly opposite the middle stack but are about 10-20m further North.
The SMC talks about stakes being required for the abseil, we found a good rock anchor that allowed us to abseil to both the triangular ledge and the U-shaped recess (described in the SMC book) just below the cliff edge, but great care should be taken at the cliff top both moving around and trusting gear as some of the rock is quite suspect.
