A few boulders scattered along the edge of the moor. A good place to find total solitude.
Park on Mortimer Road. Go through the gate and follow the footpath north until you reach a small bridge. Turn left into the path/stream. Then follow the wall westwards on its northern side.
There are lots of ground-nesting birds around here so the approach notes are not appropriate if you're bringing a dog. If you are bringing a dog then it is better to keep it on a lead and to continue along the track and approach from below the crag.
