Sunshine on the Revision Slab © Hamfunk
The sport crag features one east facing slab and one west facing slab. The top half of the latter catches the afternoon / evening sun.
Park at the new Scottish Wildlife Trust car park at the entrance to Longhaven Quarries, near the main road (A90).
Follow the old quarry road till the road turns to the right. Follow the road to the left and drop into the field to follow a faint land rover track directly to the crag. A cairn marks the descent into the quarry which is non-tidal but slightly boggy at the base. The loweroffs on the revision slab should be visible from the top of the cliffs.
The locking carabiners for the top of Broke Back Wall are heavily rusted.
Depending on the time of year the field can be planted, but the crag can still be accessed easily by the coastal trail. Follow the old quarry road, continuing right until you reach a derelict house and the start to the coastal trail. Follow for 20-25 minutes and you'll come out on top of the crag.
