40m. A rewarding, absorbing and lengthy outing up the centre of the Back Wall to reach its highest part. Well fortified with fourteen 12mm bolt runners. The best climbing is found keeping closely to the line of the bolts all of the way to the belay.
An introductory slab and steep bulge is followed pleasantly to a mantel onto a large sloping shelf. Step across to the right and then immediately back left to gain the slab above and climb this is a large scoop. Move across to the right and climb its right edge with difficulty to easy open ground above. Continue directly up the ‘tower’ above and pull up left to gain the belay ledge and a double 12mm ring abseil station.
