Rockfax Description
A great route with a short loose section. From the right-hand belay on the terrace, make two 30m abseils straight down the wall to a good ledge.
1) 6b+, 35m. From the ledge, gain the left line of bolts and tackle the thin slab moving diagonally leftwards to reach a long ledge and possible belay. From the left end of the ledge, make a thin horizontal traverse left (well bolted) to reach the base of a groove. Easier climbing leads to a belay in a niche.
2) 5c, 25m. Go up and right on good holds and pull round the rib. Traverse right to the base of a white groove which proves tricky. More hard moves lead up and right to the end of the terrace and belay.
3) 5c, 17m. The corner crack above is the start of Las Graviotas. Make fun moves up this for three bolts then traverse left to a crack. Climb this and return right to belay in Las Graviotas.
4) 6a+, 20m. Move back left and follow the continuation of the crack up to a tree at the base of another terrace.
5) 6a+, 25m. Make your way up and right to the base of another crack and climb this to a ledge. Belay on the left.
6) 4b, 15m. Climb straight up from the ledge to the top. © Rockfax
