Climbs 8
Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 5m a.s.l
Faces all
Sea cliffs with a variety of aspects and climbing types, spread over 4 main areas - mostly in the range of 8-15m length.
The rock is largely solid and offers excellent friction and protection, though some routes have a little vegetative decoration. Whilst the routes are quite short, the climbing is good and well worth a visit.
This area is basically the East side of the small peninsula where Opinan slabs are located - and because of the nature of the area, there is climbing on most aspects.
Approach as for Opinan Slabs, but branch off right towards the coast where the path begins to head up hill. 5 mins more walking will take you to a small boulder filled inlet, beneath a massive jutting overhanging crag - with large blocky boulders below and right of it.
Access can be dependant on the tide, but most routes will be accessible at half tide or lower.
