Ousal Dale is the right-hand tributary of Dimmings Dale and offers a number of smaller buttresses, giving a few routes and lots of very good bouldering.
To reach the dale, follow the right-hand path from the Rambler's Retreat. Branch off right up a track from halfway along the first pool.
