On the moor above and behind Millstone Quarry are some blocks that have been scrambled on for aeons; the higher one always has a few walkers taking in the view. Climbers have scratched around here for many years too, though more recently they have been used mainly for bouldering. There are several decent climbs worth calling in for though on the taller sections of Over Owler Tor.
The outcrops are situated near the Surprise View, on the moor behind Millstone Quarry. Park at the large Surprise View car park then leave this northwards by any one of several narrow paths. These climb steeply through the woods and past the odd quarry before popping out onto the moor. Over Owler Tor is prominent just beyond Mother Cap.
