This sheltered crags provides some good steep climbing on granite, however is has a tendency to seep after rain. The crag has benefited from a clean up in 2024
Park in the lay-by just west of the Pannanich bottling plant and take the path from its west end branching right at a cairn.
Please avoid if there is evidence of nesting birds
Peregrines are nesting. Avoid until they have fledged.
Visted the crag today and, unfortunately, the forest has reclaimed all the routes. Quite allot seem to follow drainage lines so even if cleaned, would probably revert back to their present state.
Crag X however would probably be worth a clean. Smelly Fox - 24/Jun/09 |

Could not locate the routes of this crag - not even sure if were at the right crag! We were deep in the woods although fairly certain that we managed to find 'Cave Route' on the finding of a big chasm although I have spotted a big crag facing sort of eastwards in a clearing of woodland (clearly not where we were) that looks more promising. Any opinions anyone? Smeggles - 12/Sep/08 |
