North Wales' premier training venue and the perennial back up option for when the mountains are inevitably wet.
The Cave is unmissable as you go up Marine Drive- the approach is 10 seconds for those willling to pay the toll (currently £5.80 in 2025). Those unwilling to part with this amount can park in Llandudno itself and brave the 10-15 minute walk in.
The Marine Drive is a one-way road and climbers are requested not drive back towards the entrance gate-house after climbing. Local residents have complained to the Council about this (car headlights shine into peoples houses) and access could be jepordised. There have also been issues with car parking, when large vehicles (buses) have failed to get past, and climbers are asked to park considerately, ensuring that vehicular access is not hindered.
