Granite slabs, mostly bolted sport routes 10-15 mins above Highway 140.
Useful place to go to wait out the toll booths, as it is just outside the park boundary.
Park in a layby on the south side of the road, about 3/4 mile outside of the Yosemite Park entrance booths. About 50m downhill from the layby a vaugue path winds its way up the hill through boulders/talus to the base of the crag. Be extrememly careful not to dislodge stones into the road on the lower sections of the approach.
Area has recently suffered from extensive fire damage (summer 2018). The ground is unstable in places, and many trees have been damaged at the base of the crag.
