At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving. Please proceed with caution though.

The Phoenix park boulder: a majestic manufactured monolith standing proud atop rolling the parkland of Windmill Hill, Runcorn. It is a definitely sadly ignored and possibly up-and-coming climbing destination perfect for gym climbers still scared of touching real rock, or outdoor climbers bored of hunting for holds or brooding over beta. The grades are softer than the surrounding safety surface and everything is contrived.
More up-to-date problem lists may or may not be found at www.pexbouldering.tk/phoenixboulder. email@example.com for comments and problem suggestions.
All problems are in need of repeats to settle the grades.
The boulder is located at the south end of the park. Car access from Castlefields Avenue East via Phoenix Park Avenue by the new estate. The boulder is visible up the hill past the Urban cafe from the car park.
