Crag features
A selection of routes spread over various headlands and zawns on the south coast of Holy Island. Mostly semi tidal. Avoid climbing near nesting choughs.
Access Advice
Parking is at the beach end near some public toilets. Between South Stack and Trearddur Bay. Coastal paths lead in both directions for access.
Seasonal Restrictions
Dates: 1 March to 30 June
Reason: Nesting Birds
There are nesting choughs near “The Hanging Basket of Babylon” to “The Blue Horse”. Please avoid all of these routes during nesting seasons.
The Cough nest at Yellow brick road hasn't been successful, therefore climbing for 2025 can continue here. This will be reviewed again in 2026.
