At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving. Please proceed with caution though.
Altitude 10m a.s.l
The rock is kaolinised, decaying, and bears caution. Be cautious about trusting pegs or even bolts (some at the top of routes). They may be very old.
Mostly single-pitch routes up to 120ft, notably Jack The Ripper (E1 5b), The Shining (E2 5c) and MagicalMotions (E4 6a).
Can be affected by heavy seas, but non-tidal.
Walk W from Porthgwarra, taking the path heading downhill to a low point on the coast. It goes around some reedy marshes above the eroded lip of the cove. Take the easy descent down.
