A clean glaciated butress close to the car park. Rapid drying.
Forty to fifty metre routes on excellent rock. A great evening or short day venue. Crypt Direct(E1), Go Between(E2), Mandrake(HVS), Irony(HVS), Aberration(MVS), Quayfoot Buttress(VD).Have done Aberration a number of times and have always found the first pitch considerably harder than the second .Anyone else had problems with it?
fatrob> climbed here after rain. The crag did not dry as quickly as we hoped, and we believe the "Rapid Drying" information above to be erroneous. The lichen on the rock makes routes treacherous when damp.
Two minutes from the NT Bowderstone car park.
ended up at this crag by accident, glad we did! Worth a visit. Scott Quinn - 23/Jun/14 |

The block with the cross appears to offer a good anchor, but it is in fact loose. Steve Lenartowicz - 09/May/12 |

A nice, small and compact butress, 15 mins from the campsite and really nice routes Sam Marks - 13/Jul/11 |
