The reason you went outside instead of staying in the Ratho wall? The beautiful twin flake cracks, a great route. Judicious use of both cracks makes it less brutal than appearances suggest.

βeta: Second ever E2. Tried to lead last summer but backed off. Top roped twice this year, and the lead was strangely uneventful. Knowing what gear goes where saves so much energy. Keep doing the laybacks and don't step left, IMHO | ||

βeta: Clean route and awesome! The gorse bush anchor (tat) at the top may seem at first unorthodox, but coupled with the metal pole suffices. Very well protected, but your forearms will pay the price for dithering. | ||
