Crag features
This is a small wall in a quiet area above Garganta Blanca with some of the best crack climbs in the Sierra de Gredos. The first pitch of the GAPE is one of the best corners you can climb anywhere in the world.
Approach notes
From just south of Hoyos del Espino on the AV-941, take the road signed to Plataforma de Gredos by a roundabout with a boulder. The road that leads to the parking at the road end. From the parking, follow the path towards Laguna Grande and turn left after 20 minutes when you reach the Prado de las Pozas. Fllow the normal route to the Morezón summit until you reach the Puerto de Cagarruta. Continue walking south, and the Risco del Fraile on your left.
