Crag features
An important geological site, unique in Sardinia, and consists completely of quartzite. It is a Clean Area, where traditional climbing methods are employed, so drilled and fixed protection such as bolts and glue-in ring bolts are not permitted.
Approach notes
From Sassari or Alghero follow signposts to Argentiera. On reaching the small village of La Corte, turn left to follow the local road, Sa Corte Bacchileddu, which heads towards a high rocky crag outlined against the foot of Monte Forte. From here follow signs for the Bed & Breakfast Predda Bianca. At 2.4 km from La Corte turn right and after 700m you will reach the buildings of the B&B.
Park here after asking permission from the accommodating owners (www.preddabianca.it) and walk along the dirt track (15mins) up to the saddle to the right of the crag; from here follow the footpath to the base of the rock face. Remember, it is important to close the gates after you!
