Rock of Ages buttress on west side is very steep and compact. Two climbs well worth seeking out. On opposite side of road is a larger but gentler buttress with a bunch of low grade sport and top roping routes used by various commercial organisations. Some low life has started chopping bolts. There is some easy bouldering 100m up the combe and then a lovely little outcrop round the corner just past the layby on the left hand side.
The dismal old restaurant has been closed and a neat little takeaway cafe with good coffee and hipster snacks has replaced it.
Public access although used for commercial climbing organisations. Often full all day in the summer.
