Roda di Vael is an impressive peak located on the southern end of the Catinaccio chain. The Southwest Face is particularly impressive and enjoys a good reputation amongst climbers. The Masare and Roda di Vael Via Ferrata is superb at the grade and one of the most frequented in the region.
Approach via the Paolina chairlift from Carezza.
