Crag features
The biggest crag in frankenjura, huge number of superb lines, in the lower and middle grades, bolting can be dangerous and many routes are polished, however the climbing is vast and you can always find a spot to climb even on weekends. For the bold lines take a set of Offsets, Nuts of all sices, smaller friends and Hex 1-3. Slings are only needed for zigzaging routes to reduce ropedrag.
Approach notes
From Urspring north of Egloffstein take the road that leads to Morschreuth, on the road that climbs up the hill there is an obvious corner left with parking and on the opposite side of the road a path that leads up into the Forrest that has steps up to the crag, you should join in the middle (Sector Depotweg) with the climbs Holenweg, Gerade R6 etc all red pointed.
