βeta: I'm just here to say I think this is one of the best routes in Northumberland and I've done it many times. From the top of Rothley Crack, it looks like an epic journey out across the 'smears for feet' face... and it is! Good gear, and a potential swing across the face, but you will never hit the ground. For the record, I've toproped Master Blaster Direct and then reversed Muscular Eruption (it's much harder left to right), but didn't lead it. Muscular Eruption is a County Top Ten and I'll die on that hill. | βeta? | |
