Popular West facing crag. Grades start at UIAA 7 (French 6a).
Pleasant belaying and a relatively short walk in. Many projects to be had here and the crag stays dry in most conditions.
Approach notes
From Rettenberg follow the route to Vorderburg. Park at the prominent carpark at the end of the road. Take the left walking path (west) when looking at the building by the carpark. Follow this for ~250m then slight left into the woods. Follow the path through the woods to the signposted junction from here take the path down the steps (direction Rotach) for ~100m and then turn left to the crag.

The area to the right of Avalon must not be climbed due to breeding birds.
