A hidden 12m prow of sculpted gritstone perched above the south end of Rudyard Lake. It offers a couple of worthwhile routes that through lack of traffic often revert to a natural coating of moss (easily removed with a soft brush). If clean, one route is good and the other is excellent.
The top of the pinnacle is next to a public footpath which starts between two houses opposite the nearby school. It is best to park between the school and the hairpin in the road. Follow the path through a gate into a small wood - only a 2 min walk.
