βeta: Well bolted and obvious lines. First belay has a peg and one bolt hanger. P3 shared bolts and both belays with the 5b, room for a few parties. P7 for the ridge and summit is very worthwhile! A 12m trad line that traverses right above the big tree (sling) to gain a rib and slab. Vdiff with the tree, a tied off chicken head and three solid threads (a few alpine draws and two 120s worked nicely) trad gear would make it even safer but unnecessary. The ridge is around grade-2, middle bit is exposed and some detached blocks but great fun. Descents as per Rockfax. The private farm road closes at 1700 according to signs at the farm. | ||
