Climbing banned in Italy

Due to the ongoing spread of Coronavirus, Italy has banned all climbing. Continuing to do so not only puts people at risk, but can also put more strain on emergency workers. Please do not climb here.

Crag features

The first crag to be bolted in the province of Messina in the 80’s, although it has been rebolted since. The right side of the crag offers technical vertical and slab climbing on grey rock. The left has an impressive overhang with pockets on striped rock. All routes are short at 15m max but still worthwhile.

Approach notes

Park just by the side of the road just after a hairpin bend. Pass through a gate in the fence at the corner of the road and walk approx 2min through another fence to the crag.
